Stress Analysis and Structural Optimization of Steel–Concrete Joint of Zhonghua Road Bridge in Liaocheng

Based on Zhonghua Road Bridge in Liaocheng city, a single tower hybrid cable-stayed bridge, the stress of steelconcrete joint girder is studied using finite element method with software MIDAS and ANSYS. The beam model whole bridge established CIVIL, from which internal forces critical sections steel–concrete under six adverse conditions are obtained. Then, results applied refined solid-shell With analysis, it found that when used both compressive strength concrete tensile steel can be fully used, structural stiffness smoothly transferred through two different materials joint, makes behavior more reasonable. detailed analysis also shows prone to generate considerable concentration at corners connection between lattice chamber pressure bearing plate, avoided by local stiffening smoothing chamfers. sensitivity web thickness joints plates showed increasing intermediate would lead moderate reduction itself, while member remained relatively constant.
